Born Pretty didn’t begin with glitz or glamour — it began with survival. Out of an abusive relationship, a single mum of three boys, and two Kmart chairs in a spare room, a dream was born. Not just a salon, but a sanctuary — a place where women could lay down their burdens and leave a little lighter, a little stronger, and a little more beautiful, inside and out.
Through break-ins, financial struggles, and moments of doubt, the women who walked through our doors became our greatest inspiration. Their strength gave us strength. What started as hairdressing became healing, soul work, and a community bound by resilience and hope.
